What shipping methods are available?

Paintings: The checkout cart has two shipping options to choose from for US and Canada addresses - USPS standard ground and expedited USPS 2-day Priority mail.

Photography: I partner with FineArtAmerica.com for photographic prints. They offer standard and expedited shipping. All products require 2 - 3 business days to print and manufacture before shipping. 

Do you ship worldwide?

Paintings: Currently the checkout cart on my site is set up to calculate taxes and shipping to the US and Canada. If you need international shipping to any other country, please contact me at lori@lorijwelch.com and I will calculate shipping and taxes.

Photography:  I partner with FineArtAmerica.com for photographic prints. They ship all over the world and have 14 manufacturing facilities located in five different countries. If you can receive a package via UPS or FedEx, then they can ship to you.

Can I pick up my painting in person?

If you prefer to pick up your painting in person instead of having it shipped, please contact me at lori@lorijwelch.com to arrange a time to meet at my studio in Arvada, Colorado. All photography prints must be processed and shipped from FineArtAmerica.com.

What are your photography print options?

I partner with FineArtAmerica.com for a variety of print options, including canvas prints, metal prints, acrylic prints, framed prints (with a variety of frame and matte options), wood prints, and greeting cards. Their canvas prints are museum quality, and are hand-crafted at one of their global production facilities using premium cotton / poly canvases, pine stretcher bars, and archival inks. 

Will the watermark be on the photo?

No, the watermark will be removed from the photo when you order a print.

Does my painting come with a frame?

Currently, I only frame paintings that were made on canvas board, as there is no way to hang them on a wall without a frame. These items are shown with the frame that is provided in the item photos. Paintings on stretched canvas have black edges and come pre-wired, ready to hang on your wall. Alternatively, you can choose to frame your stretched canvas painting - simply take it to a frame shop or Michael's for the custom frame of your choice.

Payment & Return Policy

What forms of payment do you accept?

Paintings: I conveniently accept credit card payments, processed securely through my website. Additional payment methods such as Apple or Google Pay may become available at a later date.

Photography: I partner with FineArtAmerica.com for photographic prints. They accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal.

Is your checkout process secure?

Paintings: Yes, the hosting platform for my website (Webflow) is integrated with Stripe for payment processing. Stripe enables secure credit card payments - your credit card information is encrypted and the process is completely invisible to me. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.

Photography: I partner with FineArtAmerica.com for photographic prints. You will be going through their checkout process on their website. Their process is secure and they sell thousands of pieces of artwork each month.

What is your return policy?

Paintings: I want you to be absolutely thrilled with your painting! If for any reason you want to return your painting, it can be returned for a full refund within 7 days after you receive it. You'll just have to pay for return shipping. Be sure to save the packaging and contact me at 303-521-1058 to arrange the return.

Photography: I partner with FineArtAmerica.com for photographic prints. If you're not happy with a purchase that you made on FineArtAmerica.com, for any reason, you can return it to them within 30 days of the order date.   As soon as it arrives, we'll issue a full refund for the entire purchase price.   Please note - Fine Art America does not reimburse the outgoing or return shipping charges unless the return is due to a defect in quality. My package arrived damaged - what do I do?

Paintings: I do my very best to package paintings to arrive safely, but as we all know, sometimes the unexpected happens. If your painting arrives damaged, please contact me right away at 303-521-1058. I will work with you to either get you another painting in exchange or if you are patient, I can paint another one for you.

Photography: I partner with FineArtAmerica.com for photographic prints. If your package arrived damaged, please contact them at 1-877-807-5901. They will work with you to get another print made.

Artist Q&A

You don't currently have a painting of my favorite trail... can I get one?

Please contact me at lori@lorijwelch.com and I'll do my best to accomodate you. I need a good reference photo to work from.

Where I can see paintings in person?

If you would like to see my paintings in person, please contact me at lori@lorijwelch.com to visit my studio in Arvada, Colorado. You can also find me in Crested Butte at the Farmer's Market and at the vendor booths during Bike Week at the end of June.

Do you do commissions?

Yes, I'm happy to do landscape commissions. Please contact me at lori@lorijwelch.com if you are interested in a commission.

What mediums do you use?

I dabbled in watercolor and pastel before focusing primarily on oil painting, most of which I do with a palette knife. I also do encaustics (melted wax) - look for my encaustic paintings coming soon to the website.
