Looking down on the arduous climb up the Teocalli Ridge trail in Crested Butte. I like to joke that Teocalli is Aztec for "the m#therf%ucker", because the climb is so steep and so long and for most mortals, requires quite a bit of hike a bike. But, as the title suggests, it's totally worth it. The valley the trail sits in is stunning, with boatloads of wildflowers in the summer. The scenic viewpoint at the top looking down on Pearl Pass is jaw dropping. And the downhill is an absolute blast. It is definitely a must ride or hike if you're visiting the area.
